INTRODUCING THE MINOX ME-2 ELECTRONIC FLASH

We are proud to announce the new Minox ME-2 Electronic Flash. This self-contained unit is specially designed for flash photography with Minox B and C cameras. The ME-2 plugs onto the Minox model B and C cameras without using a connecting cord. It delivers automatically timed flashes ranging from 1/1,000 of a second to 1/50,000 of a second depending on subject brightness and flash to subject distance.

Weighing only 9 ounces, the unit is powered by a built-in rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery or may be operated from 110/117V 60 Hz AC power outlets. It is adjustable for film speeds of ASA 12 to ASA 200. The photo sensor circuit is programmed to measure cumulative amount of flash illumination reflected from the subject and to terminate the flash automatically at the instant when correct exposure has been reached. For special applications, the automation may be switched off so that the unit delivers full power with each flash. Fully charged, it delivers up to 50 flashes.

Operation of the ME-2 is simplicity itself. It is slipped onto the Minox camera which locks into a ¾” deep opening of the unit and plugs into the flash connection automatically. As soon as the “ready” light of the ME-2 lights up after switch-on, the unit is ready to deliver the correct ‘dosage” of flash illumination for any distance up to the maximum applicable to the film used.

The #053 Minox ME-2 Electronic Flash comes complete With S 110/117V 60 Hz AC power and charger unit at $139.95.

The #054 Adapter shoe for the ME-2 with built-in flash contact and button release fits hot” accessory shoes of internally wired cameras or may be connected to shutter flash contact. Complete with 9 1/2” connecting cord at $9.75.
