Film: Minipan 100

Second Place
Steve Zimmerman

Slow Shutter 2008

Honorable Mention
Robert FE Jones
Edinburgh, Scotland

Place/Event: Minox LX in Colwall, England. I’d never really tried a Minox in strong contre jour lighting before. Hiding the sun behind a tree produced a lovely natural pattern against soft sky colours, like a Rowland Hilder painting; and without any lens flare.

Film: Minocolor film, processed by Minox and the 5X3 print scanned.

Honorable Mention
Anthony Kosky
Berkeley, CA

Place/Event: Alexander Valley, California. March 22, 2008.

Film:
Minox BL, Minopan 25, Rodinal Special

This was taken just outside Jimtown, on the way from Calistoga to Healdsburg during a weekend trip to the wine country.

Honorable Mention
Fernando Moreno Mielgo
Madrid, Spain

Event/Place: Photo made with Minox A in Madrid, Spain in 1999, by a Citroen 2CV repair place, which doesn't exist any more. I love 2CVs.

Film: Film was Minopan 100 developed by myself in Ilfosol S 1:9. The file comes from a scanned print.

Honorable Mention
Michael Van Buskirk
Gallery Obscura
Portland, OR

Event/Place: Central Park in Winter, February, 2008.

Film: All of my images were shot on Minopan 100 film and commercially processed by Blue Moon Camera, Portland, OR. All images were scanned from the original negatives at 4800 dpi between thin sheets of anti-newton ring glass in an Epson 4870 scanner.
