Title: Truckstop, West Dhaka Category: Places Photo by: Robert F.E. Jones Camera: Minox LX Date: 1st April 2005 Film: Minocolor 100ASA Exposure: Automatic About the photo: Local artists in Bangladesh paint "primitive" images like this plane on rickshaws and trucks; this is a 3D-version of one of these popular truck paintings used as the canopy over the pumps at a truckstop and filling station. The picture was taken at about 40 mph through the windscreen of a Toyota MPV, on a rather bumpy road. I've found that the Minox LX is the best camera ever for getting a useable image in odd situations and often against all odds! (Traffic drives on the left in Bangladesh - the image is notaccidentally reversed)..
