About the photo: This is one of the those few images that remain a mystery. I think this began as a night shot on landing somewhere. What I think caused this strange image was I had made a "bulb" setting exposure and did not reset the shutter for this shot. So, hearing the shutter stay open, I just kept there, pressing it against the window as we landed. That's the only thing I can think of to explain it. Despite this operator error, I liked what happened. I will keep looking at this for a long time trying to figure out where it was...
